E6GMX GM Replacement Plug-In Computer
Vehicle Specific, Plug-in Fuel & Ignition ECU

The All New Designed Haltech E6GMX Fully Programmable Plug-In Computer now available, complete with HalwinX windows software.

The HALTECH E6GMX is a powerful “real-time” programmable fuel injection and ignition system computer designed as a plug-in replacement for certain models of DELCO computers used in General Motors and some other brands of motor vehicles. See below for model application.

The E6GMX uses HalwinX Windows software, the same software for programming E6X and F10X.

There is no need to install a wiring harness, sensors, relays, etc...

Simply plug it in, connect a suitable personal computer, boot up the supplied software and presto, you have a “real-time” programmable engine management system!

The E6GMX System optimises engine performance through the following capabilities:

  • Complete 3D fuel and ignition control (1024 points each)
  • Dual fuel and ignition maps
  • Correction maps for fuel and ignition
  • Closed loop fuel injection and idle speed control
  • 2 Spare user definable outputs
  • Datalogging
  • Windows software
  • The E6GMX is much more than a programmable fuel injection computer - it provides logging of engine data and allows access in real time to maximise performance and trouble-shoot problems in a vehicle whilst running.

The E6GMX has been designed for installations where changes have been made to the engine and full programmability is desired.

Improved features from previous model:

  • Password protection of ECU maps
  • Surface mount components
  • New injector drivers (no need for two ECU variants)
  • New Halwin Windows software
  • On Board Barometric pressure sensor
  • 2 Spare PWM outputs
  • All Digital inputs and outputs are now configurable
  • Dual mapping feature
  • New Red Anodized box

The patented HALTECH system of programming virtually eliminates the input of numbers. You simply manipulate bar graphs by pressing arrow keys on the attached PC running Haltech Programming software. Manipulating the bars allows you to increase or decrease the amount of fuel delivered or ignition advance at that particular RPM and load point. The process is repeated for all load points in each rpm range. Ignition timing is precisely mapped through the RPM range so that the exact timing required to obtain optimum performance is applied in every RPM and load range.

The newly evolved E6GMX with additional user definable PWM outputs suits the following applications:

  • VL Walkinshaw
  • VN, VP, VR* and VS*
  • N13 Pulsar
  • JD and JE Camira

* Manual only
